Confirmation of Comet's clear title to Kamloops lands

PRESS RELEASE—FEBRUARY 22, 2022

As Comet Industries Ltd. ("Comet") continues to explore the development of a light industrial park on its Kamloops "Property A" lands, Management has located a letter dated March 14, 2000 from Teck Cominco to Comet and affiliated companies, Davenport Industries Ltd. and Initial Developers Limited, terminating its interests with respect to the "Property A" lands, including all undersurface and surface rights originally provided for in an agreement dated August 27, 1987. "Property A" consists of 190.2 acres of vacant land within the City of Kam loops. The confirmation of the termination of Teck Cominco's interests will greatly assist Comet in pursuing the development of a 150 acre industrial park on the land.
